Is there any way to make 87 headlights fit a 86?

 

Sure. You'd have to swap the whole frontend clip (fenders/hood/bumper) from the '87 onto the '86.

 

Exactly, EXCEPT for the fenders. you do not have to swap those. Just the hood, front bumper cover, and the plugs for the headlights have to be spliced into the harness. If you were going from the newer to the 4 eyes you would have to have the bumper support to becausethe older front ends have amber lights in the support. The newer front clips don't.

 

And how about taillights?

 

They are the same are they not? Same fit I mean
