Overlay or spray?

I finally got my hands on a set of stock tail lights. Now i just want to tint them. Should i go with the overlay, or the vht nite shade spray? If anyone has pictures itd be appreciated.

go w the over lay bc there is always that chance of too much spray in one spot or runn, and u wont see it and it will show up when u break

Why would you want to reduce the effectiveness of your stop/taillights?

i said overlay.
i always thought spray was better, but what if you mess up?
get pulled over for them? gotta by NEW tails for ALOT more money opposed to just peeling the vinvyls off.
