Default column shift!

if u have an automotic doees it hurt the tranny if u shift at the column..... put it in first go to like 3,500 4,000 rpm and shift it into 2nd and it goes in pritty smoothly. does it hurt it? bad idea 2 do?

This raises the line presure but unless you do it every time I can't see where it'd hurt.

Just don't get caught up in the moment and jump to "REV"!!!!

i never understand why people with automatics do this...if you wanna shift get a 5sp?

the 1 and 2 gears are intended to be in the automatic for situations like towing on a hill, getting stuck in the mud/snow, etc... not driving around town shifting. does it hurt anything? i dont know
