Putting new axles in my 8.8, removed the brakes and pushed the axles in but i cant get the c clip out, Any tips or advice on removing it?

 

Tap the axles in with a 20 pound sledge. You cant get it in far enought cause ther is crude oushing on the seals preventing the axle to go in enought. Out a block of wood between teh sledge and axle as u do it so ou dont damage the axle.
