Driving in 3-6 inches of snow?
So my cars at the ford dealer, and its been snowing overnight, and i have to pick up my stang later. If i dont get it today I wont have it til' monday afternoon so i kinda need it outta there today. Theres about 4 inches of snow now and its still coming down, theres mostly one stretch of straight highway from the dealer to my house, hopefully will be plowed and well traveled already, but on sidestreets how f***ed am I? Should I even expect to make it back? Other than throwing mad stuff in my trunk (weight plates and such) what can i do to make it easier to get home?

Nothing I can think of really other then keep a light foot. When adding weight to your trunk though I recommend using cat litter for weight. Reason being if or when you get stuck you can open a bag and spread some around on the groundinfront and behindthe tires for added traction.

Cat litter (or sand) is good advice for weight. Other than that leave the t/c on (if you have it) and just take it nice and slow. Try not to hit the gas at all while turning, but if you have to do it very lightly. Honestly the hardest spot you may have to worry about is getting back into your driveway, if you have one.

Just dont slow down too much. If you come to a complete stop your likely gonna get screwed somewhere. I live in MI and my stang is a DD so I have gotten use to the snow but it sucks. I honestly think its not bad when their is a couple inches. Its the worst when their is a light layer of snow cause you spin whenever you slightly hit the gas, also slush is impossible to hadle. GOOD LUCK!

Man if you have to drive a GT thru +4" of snow and (I assume) on all season tires then you are gonna have your hands full [:@]
..maybe worth it to have the garage tow the car to your home? lol
