Default RE: gas mileage

I was getting 21-22 mpg in my 07...75% open road and 25% town. I put a JLT2 CAI with SCT tune on several weeks ago and the mpg has droped to 19-20 mpg...same type driving. I don't thnk I have been driving more aggressively since the CAI was installed. My rationale for this decrease in mpg (and it may be wrong) is that the CAI increases airflow to the engine, the tune increased amount of fuel to maximize the A/F mixture thus you get a lower mpg. I also noticed my cooling fan runs more frequently now...again probably a function of more fuel being burned thus higher engine temp so the tune adjusted the cooling fan temp parameters. Maybe my logic is all screwed up...let me know.
