Fox brake upgrade

Fox brake upgrade
I'm looking to upgrade my factory brake system. I want a track worthy set up without having to spend 2-3 g's. I'm familiar with almost all of the conversions out there, but I can't seem to find much specificly made for the fox body. If anyone has done an upgrade they can share with me, what you did how and where you got the parts and how well the setup worked. Any info you could share would be awesome. What I've been thinking of doing is the sn95 rear setup (axels calipers and brackets) with vented slotted rotors, performance pads, braided lines 93 cobra master cylinder with 3-2 port conversion and a proportioning valve. As for the front I'm looking at keeping the stock spindles and getting 5 lug vented slotted rotors performance pads braided lines and svo calipers unless there are better calipers that will bolt up to the stock spindles. I wouldn't mind going with larger discs up front and bigger calipers, but that's where it starts to get really expensive. So if anyone has done a similar conversion and can share any info with me on what else I might need and how well it worked I would appreciate it.

RE: Fox brake upgrade
It just adds a lot of cost. What I have figured above will run about 1200. If I go to cobra brakes up front it will be about 500 more. I mainly want something that will withstand the occasional autocross. Cooling of the compenents is the main concern clamping power is fine. There is enough power to easily lock them up, also looking for better pedal feel.

RE: Fox brake upgrade
i used 96GT spindles, 93 Cobra 13" rotors and calipers with SS lines in front.
out back i put in a pair of 88 MK VII 5 lug axles and the rear rotors/calipers from the same car. also used SS lines.
i used a 99 6 cyl. master cylinder to move the fluid, and a manual porportioning valve.
works good at Buttonwillow.
a lotof this is available in a wrecking yard.
