One morning my power locks quit working, and remote. No bad fuses, but now they lock when the car is turned on but not when it's off or turned on accessory. When I push the unlock the dash lights come on, but go off when I release the button, and no sign of the lock trying to work at all. It also makes the chime come on if the keys are in the ignition and the door is open, but the chime doesn't work if the button is not pushed. Now my dome light doesn't come on at all. NO IT"S NOT BURNED OUT, my car is equipped with the anti-theft crap, including the dome light coming on when I open the door, but now no longer works at all. Any ideas?

 

I would ponit to the Keyless/Remote Mod.
Does the trunk unlock button in the car work when the car is off?
When the car is off will the dome light come on when you turn the main light switch to dome?
If they both work then you should have the power to the module.
Do the locks work fine when running?

 

No the remote does not function at all and the dome light will not come on at all. The locks will not work unless the car is running but the locks will only lock.

 

I would replace the battery in the remote
first.

 

I Tried That. It's fine, I tested it at autozone. There is something else totally wrong.
