Default rollbar in vert (real not stylebar)

im thinking i might want to get a roll bar for my vert. i dont know whats around since ive never shopped for one before. i dont know whats good/bad/whatevr.. i didnt want one cuz i thought it would look retarded, but maybe if i saw i nice looking one id go for it.
( i mean a real 2 or 4 point bar - not a style bar - that wont do anything for my head....)

also what is the cost of doing something like that - i know for cages they take the car apart to do it right, would they have to do that for this as well?

truthfully iw oujldnt mind if it looked ok, since it would add more stifness.

i saw this pic of one, (id probably want it in chrome or my car color though) is that the general style they come in?

just keep in mind mine is an 03, not a pre 99 like in the pic, and its true blue
and also - how possible is it to have a roll bar and USE the back seat once in a while?

I have a 96 and am looking for the same, a functional roll bar. Do you remember where you got the pic or if there was any info on it?

I have looked into them and found that STEEDA has a good one for the best price that I have found (I do not have a vert, but it will work in a vert) Their 4pt bars will allow you to use the rear seat. As far as tearing your car all apart to install, you have 2 options,
1. Bolt in- do not have to remove your interior to install but not NHRA legal
2. Weld in- have to remove interior to install and is NHRA legal

Hope this helps you.

that picture is a simple 4 point roll bar. im going with a 6 point in my hatch, 4 point you can easily still use backseat, 6 is the same except it has removeable door bars

Whats the point? Do you road race it? For an NHRA track to require a bar, (New for 2005) You can run up to 11.49 before you need a roll bar. If you're looking for stiffness, get some sub frame connectors.

its a convertible, he wants something to help out if he rolls the car, doesnt matter if he runs 25's if it rolls hes done. plus, it looks cool, adds stifness, and gives something to bolt your 5 points to
