Default source for weather stripping???

Howdy all,

My weather stripping around the doors and hatch of my '89 fox GT is in super sorry shape. I can hear the hatch rattle sometimes over bumps! Has anyone had any experience with decent weather stripping suppliers? I've seen some pretty compelling prices but don't want crap quality stuff. Weather stripping seems simple enough but I'm concered about the right fit...

...any help?

Thanks and God bless,

-BunnMan

I remove and replace my 89 weather stripping 4 years ago using the 50 resto/latemodelresto weatherstripping whichin my opinionis no where near thickness or qualityas the OE weather stripping.

If and when I ever do it again I will go with http://www.metrommp.com/MetTop.html because it's the closest to the OE weather stripping that I've seen.

That metro link gets me to a page that lets me click through some options to get to an '89 Mustang but then only lists door options for sedan and convertaible. Mine's a GT Hatch.will the same door moldings fit? If so, did you see the imports or US made stuff?

Thanks and God bless,
