Default Horsepower?

Hello, I'm new here, and just wanted to say this is a great place.

I have a question about my 87 Mustang. I just bought the car, and it has been converted from a four banger to a 351W.

My question is if anyone could give me an idea what kind of power I'm making.

It's an 86 model truck motor, been bored 40 over, new crank, rods, and pistons (dunno the characteristics of them), stock heads other than some minor port/polish work, and a pretty big cam (dunno the specs for it either), with a high rise intake and a big Holley 4bbl... Headers and American Thunder Flowmaster exhaust system. It also has electric radiator fans and no A/C pump to draw hp from...

I still have to paint it, and junk the weenie 7.5 rear end, just curious as to what I will be working with here. Thanks for any help.

Hard to tell how much HP a modified engine will make.. how fast can your car go 0-60? 1/4 mile?

That's the thing... I have no idea. And with that old 7.5 non-positive traction rear end I'll never know, because it will NOT get good enough traction to test something like that. I would say the car has got to be making at least around 220-250 hp, since it will out run (the guy i bought it from says so anyway) a stock 93 convertible GT easily.

One more question, will the five lug front spindle set-up from like an 86 SVO mustang work to replace my four-lugs?

I'm pretty sure SVO's have really jacked up backspacing and it makes them really hard to get wheels for

Yeah I know they have the kits, but I don't need axles, because I'm getting a whole rear-end from elsewhere, all I need is spindles and all for the front.

Thanks for the help guys.
