sn95 bogging please help...
Ok i just bought an sn95 a week ago. I have been having problems at WOT and at idle. It feels like it has no power at WOT and backfires , very sluggish. and at idle it will idle up on its own and then sometimes get very low almost stalling out. I read somewhere online that sn95 computers are touchy with mods. The car has the following mods. e303, cobra intake mani, smog delete, full BBK exhaust with cat delete. I checked oil pressure and it is fine at 50 ,coolant is good. i cleaned the MAF. and bought a new filter. im stumped as to what it could be other than the computer not knowing what kind of fuel mixture to make. I also read that if I put an 87/93 computer in it should help the ploblems with the mods. any ides as to what might be going on. I guess im trying to reassure myself that its the computer and that i didnt in fact buy a lemon..[&o]

Uhh, I might be wrong: but the fox-bodies didn't have computers-- at least ones that controled fuel. I believe the '94 or '95 was the first year(s) to start with FI, and before it was all carburated. I might be wrong, though. So don't quote me.

RE: sn95 bogging please help...
the 87s and up have computers. The motor only has 55,xxx on the rebuild.plugs are good i just changed them but the wires are bad. I have never heard of wires making a car idle up and down and bog. It only boggs bad when cold. I would like to think its the computer not throwing out the right air fuel ratio . and that getting after market comp or atleast an older one would help me. It has smog delete and no cats i would think it would throw off the computer i just need some solid info on this type of problem.
