Default speedometer???

My speedometer gives me the wrong speed, im guessing its from the 3:73 gears. Is there anyway to fix this?

you need to get a new speedo gear that is made for your 3.73's. i think you can also reprogram your computer for the change.

Most likely gears, Could be your tire size as well. depending on the year of your car, you can reprogram the computer to calibrate it to read the right speed. On my 89 Fox, you cant, and it just turned out that all the teeth were stripped off my vehicle speed sensor that goes into the tranny. It still was about 5 MPH off after that, but better than 10 or 15.

You should get a handheld tuner (SCT is nice) to calibrate speedo. The tuner is very usefull as you do upgrades. If auto trans then shift points and firmness can be adjusted also.
