Default Bang for the buck

Well i posted this is another section but got only a few responses, so im going to try it both in the 4.6 and 5.0 forums. Ok, not so start an opinionative nightmare, but which generation mustang do you all think gives the best bang for the buck so to speak? I am looking to buy a mustang as soon as i can sell my truck. I have maybe 15000 max to spend so obviously im limited on my options, but what do you guys think? Im leaning towards the fox body for price/performance, but man i really like the 99-04 body style... I want something i can comfortably cruise around in during the summer, and still take to the track and have fun if i want to. What ever i get it must be able to kill all of those pesky GMs and ricers that i pull up next to. [8D]

For $15,000, you can buy an 99-00 Mustang, put on a supercharger, and be running near 400 rwhp. You will probably have some change left over for a shifter and gears.

You could probably pick up a 99 or 01 Cobra for 9-12k and put gears, nitrous, shifter, and tires andgo 11's

well you heard about them all except the fox. cheaper to buy, lots of real good ones for $3500. LX coupes are the best. they are lighter to start with. there are more things to bolt on than you can count, so you can spend the rest of your money on them.
