i jus got my old 86 gt back again for 3rd time lol . has stock motor with peice sht 4 speed tranny car use to be pretty mean with 5 speed but someone put 4 gear n it and turd n sucks when dont have reverse also lol but anyways every once in while some reason car wont start and i have to get n hatch and push button down on fuel relay switch what would cause this can anyone help me out with that . . and also can i make this motor mean with out switchin over to mass air flow

Sounds like your fuel relay impact sensor is defective.,., replacing it should be pretty cheap.

And yea you can mod a speed density engine a bit, but kinda depends on what your mean by 'mean'? .. How mean?? lol

haha how mean i dont know i maybe 300 to 400 horse . and is that what that sensor is called fuel relay impact sensor cuz sounds like gonna have to go get one later today lol.

Yea that relay in the hatchback is an impact sensor. It's meant to shut off the electric fuel pump if it detects a collision, and pushing the button on it resets it. If yours is constantly tripping & not because your crashing into stuff (lol) then it might be defective.

When it's working you can smack it with your hand to "test it". Yours is too sensitive for some reason

Hi All,
Have you heard anything about the CCRM (contstant control relay module)? My 2001 Mustang GT won't start and I think that is what is wrong with it. Just hoping someone hear knows something about it. Thanks, Q

ok ill have to check it out ill start car n bump it and if trips it ill trip it against the wall and go get a new one lol . but hell last night i started car for buddy cuz wanted to hear it and reved it up few times and then i had to reset again . surely exhaust would of tripped it but i dont know pipes are loud as helll lol has h pipe stock headers for now and straights into glass packs it makes lil bit noise i guess lol
