right now i have the stock 17x8 rims on my 97 cobra. i am going to lower it almost 2 inches. do you think i will be able to fit 18x9 on it or should i stick with 17x9?

 

Well, this is how it works. Although the wheel itself is an inch larger in diameter, the tire you should purchase to accompany it is thinner than the stock tire size, therefore the total overall diameter is the same!
