blow off valve sound

Default blow off valve sound

Hello,
I have an o6 mustang gt. When the air is on I can here it kick in and out. The problem is that I here a sound like a blow off valvecoming from the car. Does anybody else have this problem?

You might have a leak in air inlet tubing/filter or I think that not every thing is connected right and it's leaking somewhere. That's what I think.

it is more than likely the compressor kicking in and out, the clutches on the s197's are noisy by nature

I know what you mean I had a 99 S10 that always made the sound when I turned the a/c on or off. It did that from the day I bought it ttill 120k miles and the a/c always worked perfectly fine. I don't think it's anything to be concerned about.
