Default accident!!!

ok i went to my g/f house like 30 min ago and there was no place to park on her dead end street exept a strip of curb that was painted yellow so i had to park there,,anyways the neighber backed into my car and said her insurance wouldnt pay for it.

is this true??

As long as you are legally parked (both side tires within 12" of the curb and they're aren't any no parking signs), then she's at fault for hitting you. If you were on private property though (like in her yard or driveway) then its usually a no-fault accident. Did you call the police and get a report?

Well yellow is a loading/unloading zone, but as long as it was after 6PM, you are legal to park there. At least that's how it is here. Definitely file a report and call your insurance agent asap!</P>
