What does this nasty noise sound like? Squeaking? Metal on metal contact?

Dude, how about some punctuation ^. It took me three times to figure it out, I think I need some caffeine. Ok, you definently need to change the pads, also the brake rotors need to be smoothed back out or it is senseless to change the pads. I forgot what that process is called (calipering?) but your local auto parts store can usually do that no prob. Here is a lonk with a sort of checklist on it for ya. Good luck.

Most likely your rotors wont be able to be turned down enough to smooth them out without going past there minimum thickness. I would replace the front rotors and pads. Pull off your back drums and check them, but back brakes last a long time before pads need replacing because most of the stopping power is in the front.
