I just installed a new Holley Black fuel pump in my car and on start up I check for leaks and found at the bottom of the pump there is a brass plug and a small machined hole in the body(not in the motor section). this is leaking a fair bit of fuel, I have let the car run for some time and it has slowed down but still slight wetness........any help would be great thanks

 

just in case anyone else runs in to this problem, I phoned holley and they say it's a pee hole to tell you if the seal between the rotor and motor is leaking...... at this point the leak has stopped...... they think the seal was just dried up ...
