C4 band question.
How much do I tighten the bands on my C4? I'm in the process of rebuilding it now, but I have to wait to find out how much to tighten them down before I can move on.
It's a '75 btw.

Got it from a mechanic down the road a bit, but if anyone needs to know. Here it is:
Both band adjusting screws torque to 10ft. lbs.
Back the intermediate band screw off 1 3/4 turns
Back the low-reverse band screw 2 turns
Torque both band adjustment screw nuts to 40ft. lbs.
Both band adjusting screws torque to 10ft. lbs.
Back the intermediate band screw off 1 3/4 turns
Back the low-reverse band screw 2 turns
Torque both band adjustment screw nuts to 40ft. lbs.
