Default Slipping Clutch

For those that are familiar with 2.3 bellhousings, my dogbone cable broke last night so this morning i replaced it, BUT the stock quadrant is out of whack now, the clutch only grabs right at the end of the pedal throw and slips in gear. I had to use a screwdriver handle between the fork and the bellhousing to get the stock clevis back together.... I tried pumping my clutch pulling up, down, the cable is on the quadrant properly and the dogbone is the right way.. any ideas, this really sucks, its problem after problem...

Please give your ideas! Will the quadrant re-adjust to the new "setting"?

Default RE: Slipping Clutch

I temporarily fixed it with a 1/4" nut and bolt but the stock quadrant is ****.. and it looks like pulling out the 2 cotter pins is a bitch, because i have a upr triple hook quadrant from my old car that id like to install, but i wonder if it will work with the stock cable.
