If you have a donut spare then it may not work as they usually have a much higher pressure than normal tires (~60 psi). I've seen a little trick where someone contructed a tube out of PVC pipe and installed a nipple (hehe [8D]) on one end.They put the sensors inside andused a pump to pressurize it to about 30 psi and stuffed it in the trunk or the back seat or somewhere.

Silly technology, it's not like you can't see when your tires are low .
