Default Cold Air Intake with tuner?

I'm looking to buy a Cold Air Intake for my 06 GT so far it seems that GMS hasa little more bang for the buck there forI thinkI amgoing to go with the GMS Fuego Tuner & Cold Air Intake Power Package( http://www.granatellimotorsports.com...products_id=25) only draw back I see is that it has an tuner. will this void my Powertrain? Ive never used a tuner before is it hard to reset it back to its stock settings for when Ive got to take it in for service? I don't know maybe im being greedy for the extra 19 RWHP but the way I look at is if im spending that much on a Cold Air Intake might as well spend the extra $150-$200 to go all out.

Let me know your thoughts

Yea I think you're being a bit greedy lol. A tuner "can" void your factory warranty, especially if someone screws up & programs the car to run too lean, buggering up the engine. You can't "undo" the tune in a case like that & think you're gonna fool Ford lol

GMS isn't bang for the buck. JLT is. Pick up a jlt/sct xcal 2 or 3 tuner, and the three custom tunes from a reputable tuner. brenspeed, bama, vmp etc. Can you guess how many members on here flash tune their s197s? I see your a newb. Posts all over the place. It could void your warranty if it had something to do with the malfunctioning item or as a result. Otherwise no. most people just remove the intake, set back to stock airbox, and reset tune back to factory. Drive for a while to let the computer recycle a while and take it in for warranty. If anything, tell them you had a dead battery and had to charge. And by the way, the gains are mostly in the tune itself, not the intake.
