Default Ford Racing B Springs

Is anyone running B springs?

I have been reading about suspension forever now it would seem, and Ive concluded a ford racing spring solution is all I need to get the result I want, improved handling, better stance, but still enough clearance to combat northern ontario roads.

For a while I thought C springs were my answer, but after reading about the B springs, It has me wondering, because I get a progressive spring, something that is softer for everday driving but will stiffin up during harder corners etc, while still giving me a drop. I was just curious on peoples thoughts about them?

and a bit of an after thought. I know I can get some used Mach 1 springs cheap, but there are tons of mixed reviews, thoughts and feelings on them on here. Do they lower the car at all? it doesnt have to be noticeable, Its just Im going to 17" wheels and want to kill some of the 4x4 look.

well i have a 88 GT I just put ford racing springs on mine... .87 in front and .5 in rear.. nice stance for my setup and great ride...

I too was think of progressive springs...did you know that the stock springs are not progressive?? Also when you lower the vehicle with progressive springs as the rate increases with down force the coils make contact with each other (thats how they get stiffer as u compress them) many guys complain about the spring slapping.. I would say a 1" to 1.5" would be good and consider linear or specifc rate cuz thats whats on your car now... oh replace the shock too while ur under there..

progressive is a nicer ride, Either way by ursef some nice cast and camber plates!!!
