Default Old seat track?

I had to replace the old seat track in my 95 GT. Its a power track but I'm not sure if it was the motor or the track itself that caused it to stop working overall. I replaced it with a manual seat track from a 86 Stang but now I have this old track.

What can I do with it now? Would a scrap metal dude take it with the motor still on there? Any ideas?

Don't expect a scrap guy to pay you for the steel.

I save my old iron, muflers, pipes etc. till our town has
the white metal scrap collection in the spring.
