Does anyone know if the AOD transmission used a metal rod for the Throttle Valve? I understand that cables are used but if the rod was used then what last year was it used for the carbureted 302? Is it possible to use a rod type on the 302 with an AOD and Holley four barrel. What would you need to do in order to use the rod instead of a cable? I hope this is not too hard of a question to answer but it sure would be something to ponder about. I have about six rods and no cables. Any ideas? Floyd
