I wanted to know the average life of a mustang but ofcourse, it is different with every person since it is ultimately our care that can keep it going. I have about 80k miles on my 2001 Mustang and it'll be 5 years til I pay it off so I'm putting around 15k miles a year x 5 = 155k miles by the time it's all paid and done. I was thinking about adding some mods but I didn't know realistically how long these cars can run.

115K hard driven miles i had it for 2 years and only put 9K ...

 

196k on a gt? sweet. i'm at about 96k on my 02 v6.

400,246 as of today on my 90 4 cylinder. I have all the oil change records and maintenance records. I replaced the motor at 397,xxx from the original, and it still ran! On its 5th transmission though, blew 4 autos so it got a 5 speed.

 

saw a lady on the news that had an 88 with 698,000 on it... i got 151,000 now

 

now that's a real woman.

 

I'll turn 200K this Summer on the Roush.

 

185,000 on the 94 V6. Change the oil religiously. Be good to them and they'll be good to you!
