Default Oil filter

I have been using the mobile oil filter in my stang and haven’t have any problems in the past, but I am thinking about saving some money and going with a mid grade brand like STP, is this a good idea or not?

Ive heard to use just the Motorcraft one, as it filters just as well. There was a thread on this yesterday in the 5.0 section. Appearantly Frams are ****, and most of the cheaper brands are all made by the same company. Motorcraft one is ~$3 and works just as well as others.

That being said I use the K&N Gold because I get it for free cause of my buddy at Autozone
