Sounds like your maf.

I disconnected my maf in my stang one day to see what she was like without it, well top end was awesome but there was no bottom end what so ever, from a rolling go she would be fine too.

Go out there and make sure that your maf is connected properly and take it off and plug it back in just for good measure and then try it again

adjust the TPS output voltage with the key on, engine off to .98 volts. this will improve throttle response in the ECU.

ORIGINAL: Cyberwolf1986

how would i adjust the tps valve
use a digital voltmeter and with the key on, engine off, probe the wires at the TPS to see what the voltage reading is, then loosen the two screws holding it down and rotate it until the voltage reads just under 1.0 volts, like .98 or so. then tighten the screws down and recheck it to make sure it didn't move from .98 volts. also check to see if the voltage increases as the throttle is opened and at WOT it should read above 4.0 volts. if the voltage doens't change, then you need a new TPS. if it checks out OK, then turn the key off and disconnect the negative battery cable for 15 minutes to clear the KAM (keep alive memory) in the ECU so the computer will learn the new setting when you reconnect the cable. then drive the car around some for the computer to get acquainted with the new settings and see how this does.

I would start looking for a fuel pressure loss or a restriction. faulty MAF will read high and not alow enough fuel to be added to the in coming air. generaly when you rev in park it will be choppy and not rev high. Unpluging it will set it in fail safe mode and substitute a useable value. or you can just wing it and clean the MAF wires with electrical contact cleaner.

unless the TPS is shorting adjusting it isn't going to do anything. All moving the voltage up will do is take longer to enter WOT at over 4 volts. But the fast is just pressing the gas pedal faster does the same thing. It's not going to cause the car to just bog like that (again) unless it has a short in the resistence bored.
