Default What Lubrication do you prefer?

My girl has hit that time again. Time to change her lube.

I haven't changed my oil on my stang yet and was wondering what personal preference was.

I have always used synthetic in my previous cars and plan on using here.

What oil is preferred and most importantly...what is a good oil filter. Used to use FRAM a long time ago until I read an article on how poorly they trapped sediments.

Oh and I better not see anybody type in KY Jelly for their lube.........[sm=forgetit.gif]

damn dude, i saw this thread and i was gonna type kyjelly. I use TG8A (fram tough guard) and Castrol GTX. i have never used synthetic and never plan to. i think its overrated and over priced. i dont mean to offend anyone that uses synthetic. It might be ok if you ran synthetic from day one, but i wouldnt reccomend switching to synthetic on a used motor.

Thanks. Got them from www.50resto.com

They were $170 because I got the 12pc set, which comes with the inside lights, headlights, clear sides, seals, and bulbs.

They really make the car shine if yours are old and yellow. Mine were pretty bad. Was worth every penny to buy new lights.
