thinking about a trade
Well I was out driving this morning when I drove past a car dealership that had an 03 mach one out on display so I went in and looked at it its yelow with black interior with 38000 miles on it. I did not have nothing else to do so i took it for a test drive. I have an 04 gt with exhaust and cai and 3.73 gears. the car felt like it pulled the same maybee a little better. I know the motor is much better than a gt motor. so I asked how much would i get from my car as a trade and the lowest price on the mach. they told me they will give me 14 for mine and sel mach for 17. I paid 13.5 for mine but put money into it for the gears and cai. it already had exhaust. should i do the trade or just have work done to my car. I like my color better its red the mach is yellow.

Any more bolt-ons on your car would be a waste of money, so you must decide:
A. Save up more money for a supercharger
B. Buy the mach, bolt-ons react verywellon mach's(especially compared to the gt you have)so you could go that route or save for a supercharger. Bolt-ons on a mach you could get near 350rwhp (on your gt, you could see near 280rwhp if your lucky with full bolt-ons).
If I were you I'd get the mach b/c
1. It's an attention grabber
2. All mustang enthusiasts love it
3. Interior is so much nicer
4. Same mpg and quicker car (runs w/LS1 f-bodies stock which I doubt your car would do).
Choice is yours, but I'd go mach no matter what the color. Yellow isn't a bad color, a friend I know has a yellow C5 Z06 vette and trust me that it isn't as bad as a color as it sounds to be.

RE: thinking about a trade
I dont know I guess I decided not to do it. since i just bought the 04 gt about a month ago and its in mint condition. and I really like the red color of mine. I'll take the 3,000 dollars and put in my gt the 2v is not that bad of a engine. I called steeda and they said I could get my gt up to 320 hp no problem with out braking the bank.

Pull your mods off and get the Mach 1.Go now!You are only going to be able to do so much to the 2 valve. The Mach 1 has a lot of potential. If you are REALLY happy with what you have,Don't do it.From an investment and return standpoint,The mach 1 wins.Do what makes you happy,I always do.

17k would be on the high side for an 03 Mach1. If you want one there are better deals out there. I got mine for 14K: 32000 miles, with an SCT programmer, K&N FIPK, 4.10 gears, and Magnaflow exhaust.
