well all my parts finially came in today. now all i need is some money for the install. im really counting on that limited slip to help me with my traction problems. one wheel drive sux

why pay someone to install it, thats a really simple install, you dont even need more then a handfull of tools. Just get a manual and do it yourself, you get the experiance and joy of knowing that you did it yourself. And having a professional install it wont make it better in this case.

Im one who likes to install things on my own instead of have someone do it for me. My mach1 conversion is being done by me and its a whole ****load of crap that I need to deal with. Its a full 03' Conversion into a 95 stang LOL.

But if you decide to have someone put it in then thats ok too, to each his/her own

i dont want to touch the rear at all. ill tear my motor down to the block but i wont open the trans or rear diff. i was just never taught how to. piece of mind is nice too.

he will need more than your regular tools for the install, needs a press for the new crush sleave, need a dial indicator for setting the backlash.

Hey lucky what size are those axles? Who makes that limited slip? and how much was it?

the axles are 31 spline moser's and the limited slip is ford motorsport. i got the limited slip and my gears for $100 each

ya its 8.8. i got the limited slip off ebay brand new. the gears i got from my friend at the dealship. they closed recently and new he works at one in huntington beach now. i havent talked to him in months. i know at the time he had two sets of 4.10's he wanted $100 each for. comes with shims too
