I have a 2006 4.0 which I just bought, very nice car EXCEPT. The Heat/Cold regulator switch (The One In the middle/Blue/Red) I am sure is broken. I can feel NO detents (Just goes back and forth freely) when you move the dial. I can't regulate the temp on the car I know the switch is electrical not Vacum. I went to the local thieves at Ford to see what I could get a switch for. Well you can't buy a switch you have to buy the whole front plastic panel which contain all three controls. You can own it for $155.00

Now, here is the question finally. Has this happened to youif it has do you have a fix or should I just go to the thieves and pull out my credit card
