yeah you'll notice it.... get to 2500-3k in 2nd, and rip it.... it'll throw you, and jump through the rpm's kinda quick. Have fun GL....

And listen for gear noise (Ford racing grs are known to have it) What brand did you go with??

I like the whine myself. I have some 3.73`s too but they need to be put in and my LSD rebuilt. I got everything just need to wait for someone to do it for free or wait till i have enough $$ for the Instal...BTW what did your instal cost?

Regards
Mal

it ended up costing 380, but thats cuz he had to replace all the bearings (or bushings? one of the two i dont remember)on the inside cuz they were wearing pretty badly. it would prolly cost u 250 for a clean install as long as no other parts are needed

well I have the LSD that needs to be rebuilt but i do have the complete set of bearings and what not to exchange them all out for new ones so i am prolly looking at close to what you paid Maybe a bit more all depends on how long it takes to rebuild the LSD

Thanks

you got motives so you're in the clear.... thats a strong, good runnin gear... I've got the Richmond white box soft tooth.... they are good for runnin on street or strip... the noise i hear is in 4th at like 1500rpms just cause the rearend is trying to pull. other than that--- no noise Me likey
and guys around here charge an arm and a leg for rearend work. it's geh. one guy said (well since i've been doing this so long and its killin my back, i'm a need you to take out the pumpkin) i was like f' that. So i trailered it back to SC and APS put them in for $300 + new aluminum driveshaft install w/ safety loop.
