How do you remove these? It's on a 96. I want to take them out and paint them because they are starting to fade and I want to paint them the same color as my honeycomb grille.

 

on the underside of the hood, there should be 2 bolts holding in the little teardrop thing. just undo these and the wole vent assembly will pop out and then the little black grille pops right out. i cant remember if you have to pull down the heat shield or not to get to these though. and i dont know about the vents in the doors, i think you have to take them out from the inside of the car somehow.
