Default 94 cobra- wont fire

I have a 94 cobra that replaced the distributor cap on and it ran great then the next morning it wouldnt start.I put the old cap and rotor back on and it still wont start. The car will turn over all day but it wont fire and there is no spark at the coil even. Anyone have any ideas??

If theres no spark going into the coil, then its the battery.

If theres no spark coming out of the coil, then you got a bad coil.

Someone recommended me to use the JEGS brand coil and cap/rotor. Bad idea. Car ran like **** for about 2 min, then died and wouldnt start. I used a voltometer, found 12V going into the coil and 9V going out of the coil, while cranking the ignition.

Put on the old Mallory coil with ~60k miles, and it had 62v at cranking.
