t5 tranny / 351 windsor

Ihave an '89 gt 302, fuel injected,andIwant to replace the 302 with a '86 351w. Will it work with the 5 speed transmission I have already?

Yes sir all the trans parts will work with the 351 winsdor including bell housing and clutch.

Thanks, I thought it would but wasnt 100% my other concern is does the flywheel need to be changed?

The stock T5 was barely adequate for the 302. Now, 20 years later, it won't last long behind a 351. A couple of hard launches, and that will be the end of it.
