Default Weird Starting Problem

Hey ya'll, newbie here. We're having a problem with starting a 95 Mustang GT 5.0 M/T. Today my wife was at work and she got in the car and tried to start it and all it done was clicked at the solenoid , so she tried to roll start it and it acted like it wanted to start. When she got it stopped she tried to start it again it started up just fine. The clock on the dash was reset and the radio was reset. The battery is brand new and we haven't had any other problems before. Does anybody have any ideas as to what could be wrong ?

So The starter turns the motor without any problems? Or does it do nothing sometimes and sometimes it turns? can be a bad starter/solenoid or bad connection to the starter.

Bad fuel pump, bad onjector, coils whatever

BUT if the clock was reset there obviously was a disconnection or a bad connection somewhere. And like stangerang said, IT is most likely the Battery cable IF everything was okay before you changed the battery. Because alot of things can cause a NO-Start. Its a good idea to replace the battery cables, supposedly every time u change the battery, but that is over kill obviously.

Try tightening the the connectino to the battery first, my truck had a loose connection on the battery before and would do that also
