Default ignition switch replacement

hello everyone. I have been having trouble with my ign switch. Its a 00 Ford mustang V6 and i cant figure out how to get it out. I was looking on Mitchell ondemand and it says there are 2 screws on the bottom and it should pop right out. But that isnt the case with my car. I have no idea what to do now i am so stumped. Has anybody else ever done one a switch? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
