can someone tell me everything thats different between the 2.3 and the 5.0 front suspension?

 

i would think the 5.0 springs are stiffer... other than that i think thats it. i just got done with the windsor swap myself. peice of cake.(1stford swap)motor mounts from a 302 and in she went.motorcame out of a truck sothe oil panwas good.i would stick with the stock 4 banger springs since rumor has it they are better for drag.

 

i heard that too about the 2.3 springs for a cheap drag set up but everyone down at work says there no way the suspension will hold.i also heard that things like the a arms are the same too but the parts stores but diff part numbers and prices to make more money off the v8 stuff.the only things that i would think are diff are the springs and struts and i know the sway bar is a bit thincker..does anyone know for sure?

 

92stangerang, do you still have the stock 2.3 suspension up front?
