catalytic convertor
I was told that when you were to put a exhaust system that if you broke the inside of the catalytic convertor it would sound even more mean. Does it really does that? did anyone ever did that? and is it worth it? does it work even with a stock system?
thanks
thanks
Its called gutting the cats. What you do is cut open one side of the cat and remove the material then button it back up. Honestly, its not worth the effort, just buy an offroad midpipe such as an O/R H or O/R X
it wasn't a ford but on my old crx ihad; i took it off and banged the insidesout with a shovel handle and bolted back up. i little louder and less backpressure resistance .... (more power in a hour!!)
