Default buying a stang

i came across two stangs and was wondering which on is better a 99 3.8l coupe with 134,000miles or a 96 3.8l convertible with 68,000 miles both are $4.5k with tax

Are you bent on the 6 cyl? If the 3.8L was the same in 94-95 as 96+, then go for the lower mileage. Google it to see if the engine was updated or anything from 96

See if either have had the head gaskets replaced yet. That's the biggest issue within those years. Other than that, I vote the lower milage car.

id pass on both. i got my GT for 4800.
