gears with posi? or gears without posi? what does everyone think? im not to bright and up to date when it comes to the gear and posi stuff...my car has the option to turn off traction control and turn it back on (is that a posi already built in that i have?) im thinking of puttin in 3.73 gears should i put in posi also?

 

IF you want to downgrade to a open rear end sure. Traction control has nothing to do with limited slip.

8.8s come with a limited slip so by changing gears, your only replacing the gears. You still keep your limited slip.

Limited slip means; If one wheel, loses traction the other wheel still spins with it.

open end would be; the wheel you lose traction in keeps spining while the one that has traction basically gets no movement

im not planning on doing any racing...im just looking for a quicker acceleration thats why im not sure if posi is worth the money for me

i have no knowledge on the 3.8l[8D]

dont they come with a 7.5? i dont think they come with posi.

just getting gears is fine if you only want quicker accel. for just driving around, no real need for lsd there.
