I have H&R Sport springs I love them. I have been doing research on H&R and they are the best.

Lowering 2" is a lot I think.. You're really going to need to be careful that you don't bottom out..

I personally went with BBK Progressive Rate springs and i'm very happy with them. They drop about 1.5" and ride very nicely.. Smoother than stock springs in my opinion but hard when cornering, etc...

Highly recommended.

I used H&R also and they felt like the stock ride. Here is the 1.6" drop in the front and 1.5 in he rear...

Be careful lowing your vehicle 2". Many people with your body style of vehicle experience a problem with the driveshaft making contact with the e-brake assembly which can be damaging. As far as the springs, you cant go wrong with Eibach, H&R, or Steeda. All of them are very respectable companies. However low you take your ride, dont forget the C/C plates so you can align that biatch back up!

I've got the Steeda sport springs and Tokico struts and shocks with KYB quads on my '98 GT vert. I like the combination for handling....a big improvement! There are many good brands out there, you'll just have to do your homework and make up you own mind. Steeda claims that the spring manufacturer that makes their springs is the same that makes the springs for NASCAR.

More than 1 1/2" of lowering and you definitely need caster/chamber plates to realign your front end to bring back its proper suspension geometry. May need a few other parts as well such as a bumpsteer kit. If you want to see what a '98 GT vert lowered with Steeda sport springs looks like, just click the link below:

Good luck with your ride!
