I got my spec 3 clutch installed(04 Cobra)about 10 months ago at MPH. I maybe put 6000 miles on it and kept under 3500 rpms until 500 miles. Here is my problem it makes like a bark/chirping noise ONLY out of first gear if i let it out somewhat quick(not dumping the clutch) and i have it sometimes if i let it out slow as well as drivetrain shake(feels like wheelhop) It is confusing the hell out of me.thnx

Could it be an unsprung clutch? somebody told me that might be the problem but i would like to here your opinion.[/align]

 

What your describing to me sounds like when i had my clutch replaced in my car, Whoever machined my flywheel didn't properly set it in, so it was machined unlevel and this caused a high spot or hot spots to form and burned up my clutch, it eventually got so bad that it would sometimes keep me from shifting properly.

It was the machinists at the shops fault, ignorance or just not paying attention one or the two
