Default driveshaft rub

just got lowering springs installed and my driveshaft rubs!! only when i go over bumps or give her the power from a dig. . is this normal? by the way its a 1.5 inch drop all the way around (eibach springs)

if the kit came new it should have come with a replacement bushing stop. if not justcut the old one in half.... its located in the tunnel closer to the tranny.... if thats the part thats rubbing.

the eibach kits come with a new bump stop. did you install it?

i installed mine and have had zero rubbing problems.

i guess you can be more specific on what is actually rubbing, if you know. b/c when i lower mine with bbk springs i had some slight rubbing too, but it was from the flow masters touching the driveshaft.

Rubbing is not good on any part. I think cutting a tire is nuts myself....of course they wear thinner...but a little more evenly than cutting layers off. Unless your darn good with a cutting tool...your tire will never be balanced correctly.

Mine was being notched by I think the e-brake bracket, I just bent it a little
