I recently just bought my first mustang project, its an 89 convertable with the 5.0 automatic, when i bought the car the guy who sold it to me told me it wouldn't shift into 3rd, the first to second shift is smooth but then it won't put itself in 3rd or 4th. he told me he had a mechanic look at the car and he said that the valve body needed to be replaced. i've checked online and can't find much information on a valve body, IE, where to purchase a new one/used referbished one. any information you could give me would be great i'd love to have this car up and running smooth very soon.
