I have an Xcal 2 tuner. I am trying to use if for a different vehicle but it is locked and apparently the other vehicle was returned to stock. Is there a way to unlock the tuner with out sending it back to SCT and paying $150.

 

Under status on the tuner what does it say? Does it say stock or unused?

 

It still says aftermarket. So I am wondering if it didn't flash my old car back to stock correctly. I have the new tunes for my GT I just can't get my tuner unlocked.

 

You didn't reflash the other car to stock. Read your manual, it's pretty easy to do.

 

If it says aftermarket it's still locked from before.

 

I sold the old car to a dealership back in august. So there is no way for me to do anything with it. I just want to get it unlocked without having to send it back to SCT and pay $150 for them to do it.
