Default wheel size

it is a 91 mustang 5.0 complete edelbrock performer rpm set up bbk throttle body crane gold roller rockers, bigger injectors keith black pistons,frame is tied, just dont have wheels on it yet... the question is what can i fit on the rear i.e. rim width and backspacing. what is the 4 lug bolt pattern i wuld like to go with 15" rims in the back just dont know what else i need

I see alot of people going with a 15 by 8 inch with 5.5 backspace, I guess you could run a 15 by 10, thats what I want. But you might need to trim depending on the tire.

I just went through the same thing.your 4 bolt is a 4.25. As far as your wheel size I went with eights over tens just because the the biggest tire you can fit comfortably is a 275 and even with that you will need to beat the hell out of your inner fender to stop it from rubbing.As I was ordering tires I noticed that they didnt suggest using 275 tires on anything bigger than a 9.5 wheel. Its probably a pain in the *** to get the bead set.Good luck!

I had 275's on mine with the quads and didnt beat anything they fit fine, it was tight but they didnt rub.

saw one today, it had 4-lug cobra r's with 275/45/17's on them..
